Global Day of Prayer 2009 will see thousands of Albertans gather to celebrate Pentecost Sunday.  They will join a river of prayer uniting millions of Christians gathered in stadiums, arenas, central plazas, historic sites, open fields and churches around the world.

On Saturday May 30th, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Calgary and area Christians will unite to pray in the northwest corner of Shaw Milennium Park, 9th Avenue and 11th Street SW, Calgary. There is parking available for 150 cars (cost to park). We recommend that you take the LRT.

Purpose
The purpose of the Global Day of Prayer is to seek God’s blessing on lives, families, communities, and nations.  On May30th, reach out to fellow believers in 226+ countries around the world as we pray in faith and unity.
